[Princess Mononoke]

I find that artists tend to struggle with doing fan art well - emulating someone else's work is no mean feat, especially when it's work coming from the pros. So sometimes the character will merely resemble that of the officially drawn version due to the artist missing details that make up a character's unique look. Yours, however, looks like it's the official version! Bit of a body switch, but you made it work. Kudos!

On a more serious note, this is well executed - a nice composition, and I absolutely love what you did with the sky - just gorgeous with the complementary colors and huge range of values.

Holy crap, that image is huge! (I ended up counting zeroes on that 10000 to make sure I wasn't seeing things!) This is definitely allowing for an insane amount of detail to show through - and that is neat. And good call with the background - it would have been definitely harder to look at had you left it white.

By the way, grats on User of the Day! (that's how I found you :D)

thank you very much for your kind comment! I also forgot to resize it before saving it :P its my bad but I'm usually unsure how to properly resize my images most of the time after finishing them.
